Grassroots Academy for U6 through U11 boys & girls:
Arundel Soccer Association is known for a solid youth Rec soccer program which prides itself on developing players to reach their maximum potential, while enjoying themselves in a positive learning environment. The NEW Grassroots - Game Intelligence Program is a great way for those young soccer players who love the game and are looking to excel in learning the fundamental skills necessary to become a solid soccer player. Our Grassroots - Game Intelligence Program, inspired by German master coach Horst Wien's Mini-soccer model, is a fun and educational way for kids to deeply learn about the wonderful game of soccer.

The training will expand players knowledge of technical skills such as receiving, dribbling, striking, and change
of direction moves, as well as moves to beat an opponent. ASA Grassroots rainers will
use various small sided games and competitions to encourage players to creatively find ways to reach a goal/objective, featuring 1 v 1 and 3 v 3 or 4 v 4 four goal games. Players will have constant involvement in play and maximized ball touches. The training environment will be one guided by the trainer but embraced by the player at a speed for which he/she is prepared.

Sign-ups will be taken to create age groups and plan session times. Once complete, players will be contacted to confirm their attendance and begin scheduling.
